Chairman and CEO
Jim’s ability to manage supply chain and manufacturing ecosystems and transformations draws on his extensive C-Suite experience and innate understanding of China’s lithium-ion battery manufacturing and supply chain dominance.

John Kem

President
Former Major General John S. Kem draws on his 35-year Army career as president of ABF. He brings expertise in enhancing national and global security, including a specific focus on engineering and environmental restoration, and leads the company's operations.

Tyler Hortin

CFO
Tyler Hortin brings more than 20 years of financial, manufacturing and supply chain experience to ABF, along with a decade-long specific focus on scaling energy storage.

Dr. Jun Liu

Chief Scientist
Dr. Jun Liu brings over 30 years of leadership and experience in the energy science space to ABF, leading and supporting all aspects of research and development. As chief scientist, he provides in-depth expertise in materials synthesis, characterization and application of advanced materials for energy.

Chao Hui, PhD

Principal Scientist
Chao Hui, PhD, has over 10 years of experience in planning, design, engineering and manufacturing and is well-versed in a variety of advanced materials. He oversees the engineering of critical processes and the implementation of materials such as polymers and nano-sized powders. His expertise advances the technical side of lithium iron phosphate battery cell production.

As a retired Army Brigadier General with 30+ yrs experience in global military operations, Tom Cosentino now serves as the COO of Business Executives for National Security, focusing on strategic dialogue with senior civilian and uniformed national security leaders.

Evan Singer is CEO of The Singer Group and is a leading supply-chain and technology expert.

Dr. Feng Liu

Dr. Liu is a professor and former Department Chair of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Utah and is an expert in nano-technology, energy, and quantum materials.
